Accommodation

The self contained cottage guest wing, with its own front door, is cosy, comfortable and attractively furnished. The accommodation consists of five rooms on two floors. All rooms have sea views except the ground floor bedroom. The apartment is suitable for 4 people.

Bedrooms
2 double and 1 twin: all with en suite facilities, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. All the rooms may be used, thereby making sleeping arrangements for singles as well as couples.

Kitchen
This has a full-size gas cooker and hob, microwave, washer/dryer, refrigerator and all the usual crockery and utensils.

Living Room
Sitting and dining area with open fireplace, library and large picture window. This is ideal for watching wildlife on the loch and in the garden. Binoculars provided.

The property is double-glazed and has central heating throughout (for cold weather) with convector heaters and open fireplace as options during the main season.

Isle of Skye

Kinnemond Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty near Dunvegan in North-West Skye. There are superb panoramic views from the cottage to the Outer Hebrides in the north and the Cuillin mountain range in the south, and overlooking Dunvegan Castle just across the loch.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of the sea and the famous Three Chimneys restaurant. It makes an ideal base for all outdoor activities and general touring.
Dunvegan village is approximately 5 miles away, with shops hotels and filling stations.
Glendale (2.5 miles away) has two shops, a post office and a cafe/restaurant.
Portree, the capital of the island, is a 40-minute drive and has a large range of shops and amenities.

Skye is a wonderful island for the holidaymaker – it offers peace and relaxation, superb scenery and outdoor activities, historic attractions and museums, a wide range of unusual art and craft workshops and exhibitions, and musical events to suit all tastes. You can also sample beer brewed on Skye and the famous Talisker whisky distillery welcomes visitors throughout the year. The island is becoming known for its charming little restaurants, serving some of the world’s best seafood freshly caught by local fishermen.
